Activity is part of the Giving Day campaign, which takes place worldwide

This Saturday (18), Moinho Cultural opens its doors and transforms into a Magic Factory, from 2 pm to 5 pm. The action is aimed at children ages 6 to 13 and is part of the worldwide Giving Day campaign. Passports cost R$ 60 and can be purchased at the Moinho Cultural office.

The Magic Factory brings together games, inflatable toys, art workshops, circus and snacks for the kids. There will also be a presentation of “Fernão Capelo Gaivota” (“Jonathan Livingston Seagull”), by the Cia de Dança do Pantanal (Pantanal Dance Company), choreography by Chico Neller, which has already toured 10 municipalities in the State, with performances in State Schools.

“We invite everyone to join us in this campaign as important as Giving Day. The passport is a form of giving, and we return that gesture of solidarity with plenty of art, plenty of fun,” says the executive director of Moinho Cultural, Márcia Rolon.

About the Performance

“Fernão Capelo Gaivota,” a best-seller written by Richard Bach, tells the story of a seagull for whom flying is not simply an act of getting around. Flying is an art and, as such, must be trained, practiced and shared with others, generating great transformations. A story about freedom, learning and love, which receives the orchestrated notes in this adaptation signed by conductor Rodrigo Toffolo and which also features heavyweight names such as Tim Rescala, author of the original music, played by the Orquestra Ouro Preto (Ouro Preto Orchestra), with narration led by the voice of actress Zezé Motta.
