Moinho Cultural promotes ‘Nhô Moinho’ this Saturday

Instituto Moinho Cultural Sul-Americano (South American Cultural Mill Institute) is promoting, this Saturday (8), starting at 6 pm, another edition of ‘Nhô Moinho’, the institution’s traditional festival. Tickets are already on sale and can be purchased at the Moinho Cultural office, for R$ 10.

The party will feature food, drinks, sweets, music, dances, games and, of course, plenty of fun. All proceeds raised from the party will go toward the institution’s activities.

One of the highlights is the formation of the group Forró do Meio-dia, which will perform at the event, with members of the Orquestra de Câmara do Pantanal (OCAMP) (Pantanal Chamber Orchestra). With vocals, triangle, accordion, guitar, electric bass, violin, cello and zabumba, nine members promise to liven up the party.

“It’s a moment of celebration, fellowship and also of promoting our culture, so that our customs and our essence are not lost, but endure for many more generations,” says the executive secretary of Moinho Cultural, José Roberto dos Santos Junior.
