The Mato Grosso do Sul State Department of Education (SED/MS), in partnership with the Instituto Moinho Cultural Sul-Americano (South American Moinho Cultural Institute), has opened pre-enrollment for the Itinerario Formativo Profissional em Instrumento Musical 2026 (Professional Training Track in Musical Instrument 2026), aimed at students entering the 1st year of high school. The training is free and will be offered exclusively at Escola Estadual Dom Bosco, in Corumba.

Intended for young people around 15 years old, the course integrates regular schooling with professional training in musical instrument, providing a solid foundation for both artistic development and future professional opportunities.

Throughout the training, students will go through three stages: in the first year, they will be certified as Musicalization Assistants; in the second, as Musicians; and in the third, as Music Conductors, with the possibility of obtaining a technical qualification diploma in Musical Instrument upon completing high school.

According to Moinho Cultural’s artistic director, Marcia Rolon, the initiative is an opportunity for young people to forge new paths through art. “Music is an instrument of transformation. This course reinforces Moinho’s commitment to expanding opportunities and strengthening education through art,” she points out.
