Festival is part of Moinho Cultural’s activities
OCAMP (Orquestra de Câmara do Pantanal – Pantanal Chamber Orchestra), the Quarteto Toccata, from Campo Grande, and Sinos (Sistema Nacional de Orquestras Sociais – National System of Social Orchestras), straight from Rio de Janeiro, will hold two concerts over the weekend, at the Hotel Nacional, in Corumbá.
The performances take place on Saturday (15) and Sunday (16), at 7 pm. Admission is free. The Orquestra Jovem (Youth Orchestra) of Moinho Cultural will also make a special appearance.
The performances are part of the second edition of FEMUP (Festival de Música de Câmara do Pantanal – Pantanal Chamber Music Festival), which, throughout the months of June and July, has promoted various musical events, both online and in person, in addition to classes with teachers from the OSB (Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira – Brazilian Symphony Orchestra).
“FEMUP has established us as a hub for classical music in the interior of Brazil, ensuring the training of our musicians and giving us the opportunity to contribute to audience development. We count on the presence of our fellow townspeople at these two weekend concerts,” invites the executive director of Moinho Cultural, Márcia Rolon.
