CRAS 1 takes seniors to Moinho Cultural for an artistic experience during Mother’s Day week

In observance of Mother’s Day week, users from the seniors group of CRAS 1 took part in a special morning at the Instituto Moinho Cultural Sul-Americano (South American Moinho Cultural Institute), one of the region’s leading centers for artistic training.

The program featured orchestra and dance performances, offering participants a rich, sensitive and inspiring cultural experience. The initiative aimed to honor the seniors served by the program, promoting moments of socializing, leisure and access to culture.

During the visit, participants were able to enjoy the talent of children and young students from the Instituto Moinho Cultural Sul-Americano, in music and dance performances that deeply moved the seniors present, making the moment even more special and meaningful.

The action is part of the activities carried out by the Coexistence and Bond-Strengthening Service (SCFV), which seeks to encourage the users’ sense of agency, socialization and well-being, especially on meaningful dates such as Mother’s Day.

More than a tribute, the moment was an opportunity for the exchange of experiences, sensitivity and recognition, strengthening community bonds and promoting access to culture as a right for all.
