This choice happened through a vote by artists from the whole State, which made us feel recognized and validated by our colleagues in the profession. We have been in Corumbá, a countryside city, for seven years doing professional work and taking our Pantanal to the world. It will be an honor to carry out this opening”, says the dance coordinator of Moinho Cultural and dancer of the Cia de Dança do Pantanal, Aline Espírito Santo.

Artistic director of the Cia de Dança do Pantanal and executive director of Moinho Cultural, Márcia Rolon highlights the importance of opening the event.

“It is a great honor for the Cia de Dança do Pantanal to be invited to open Semana pra Dança, an event that celebrates the diversity and strength of art in movement. We are very happy to share our Pantanal essence through dance, bringing to the audience not only the beauty of our bodies on stage, but also stories, culture and soul. We believe that dance is a powerful form of connection, and we hope our performance inspires and moves everyone present”, she says.
