Instituto Moinho Cultural Sul-Americano (South American Cultural Mill Institute) has temporarily suspended its activities

With the goal of contributing to the control of the COVID-19 pandemic, the greatest global challenge according to the official statement of the World Health Organization, the IMC’s board, backed by guidance from its Management Council, has decided to:

EXTEND THE SUSPENSION OF ACTIVITIES UNTIL MAY 3.

This measure may be extended should guidance from the competent public authorities require it. This is a preventive measure aimed at helping contain the spread of COVID-19. Due to confirmed cases in our state and in the neighboring country, we believe it is necessary to reduce the concentration of people in order to contain the spread of the coronavirus, so as not to overwhelm the health system and to ensure dignified medical care for all those infected. For reliable information about the pandemic, the public can use the Ministry of Health’s app: Coronavírus-SUS.
