The people of Corumbá will be able to “satisfy their longing” to see a concert by one of the Moinho Cultural Sul-Americano’s ensembles. This Monday (20), at 5pm, the Orquestra de Câmara do Pantanal (OCAMP, Pantanal Chamber Orchestra) will return for a performance open to the public, on the arena stage of Porto Geral in the Cidade Branca (White City).

The performance will feature flutist Celina Charlier, the performance’s special guest. Based in New York for 20 years, Celina maintains an intense international career as a flutist.

“We are preparing the OCAMP concerts with love, care, and professionalism. Playing a beautiful repertoire, with talented young musicians, conducted by the dear and highly competent Maestro Eduardo Martinelli, was the most beautiful way to return to playing live. These performances mark my return to the stage since the hiatus imposed by the pandemic. With music and friendship of the finest quality, and for the first time in our wonderful Pantanal. Happiness is the word for it,” she says.
Concert
With a sharp repertoire, in a more than special setting, the Orquestra de Câmara do Pantanal concert will feature music by composers such as W.A. Mozart, J. Brahms, Vitorio Monti, as well as icons of Brazilian music such as Pixinguinha and Waldir Azevedo, plus regional music from Mato Grosso do Sul.
