In the month when “Dia do Doar” (Giving Day) is celebrated, Instituto Moinho Cultural Sul-Americano is recognized by Instituto Doar with the Selo A (Seal A), achieving 47 points out of a possible 52, qualifying as a certified organization. This recognition legitimizes and highlights the professionalism and transparency of the NGO, aiming to further encourage a culture of giving.

In addition, Moinho Cultural also received 10 points in the assessment of AMBEV’s NGO Acceleration Program, Voa – with the Gestão e Confiança (Management and Trust) seal, which means the institute is now part of a select group of independently certified Brazilian institutions that have reached the minimum quality standard based on the leading international certification models for civil society organizations.

“All of this was only possible thanks to the process we went through together with Ambev’s VOA Excellence Program, which we began in 2019. We are already recognized and supported by some sponsoring and backing companies, and we believe that, now with the seals, this will generate greater trust among both individuals and smaller companies, so they can add to our cause. Whether in the form of direct donation, tax exemption or other forms of support, anyone who wants to can contribute to transforming the lives of children and adolescents in situations of social vulnerability on the Brazil/Bolivia border,” says the director of Moinho Cultural, Márcia Rolon.

The PGT, or Selo Doar, was developed based on research into the concepts and criteria adopted by national and international bodies, and on the literature specialized in evaluating nonprofit organizations. The Seal is organized into eight fields: cause and strategy, governance, accounting and finance, management, human resources, funding strategy, communication, and accountability and transparency.
